I will die on the hill of winged eyeliner, I do not care if it is no longer cool.  Taylor told me to draw the cat eye sharp enough to kill a man.  This is my favorite liquid eyeliner pen.  Shoutout to my friend Aileen for the brand recommendation:

In a world full of adults with their Stanley's, I am an adult with the Mini Yeti Rambler. Why? Because I would forget my head if it wasn't attached. I am less likely to be upset about leaving a $25 cup somewhere v. an $85 one.  I'm very happy with my choice.

Another pandemic habit was tending to my eyebrows on my own. I  also cut my own hair, but I do not recommend that.  These facial wax strips were gentle on sensitive skin.

After commuting in NYC by train, I have found the most comfortable and versatile shoe brand - Naturalizer.  I buy Marianne slip-ons in two colors every year.  They're like the Vans for the corporate girlies. I suffered through other brands and blisters so you don't have to.

The only skin care routine in my life for the first 6-8 months post-partum was the Aveeno lotion I used for my baby's dry skin. I would douse it on before a feeding and feel like I did something for myself.

I tried Kirkland (Costco), Huggies, Honest Company and Pampers diapers in the first year of motherhood. For me personally, Pampers were the least likely to have leaks or blowouts.

Once we had a sleep routine in place and the baby could nap in a separate room from me, our lives hit a new chapter. Especially if you are a breastfeeding mom, I feel like they can smell you and hear you so acutely that you can't function when they're napping in the same room as you.  Hubble gave us peace of mind.

Nothing like a Pavlov response.  Once we learned our son would fall asleep and stay asleep with one particular setting on this thing, we bought a second.  One at home, one in our diaper bag.  It is a life saver.
